Army Public School, Military Station Hisar is situated on the Delhi Road just 12 k.m. from Hisar. Army School, Hisar was established on 14 Sep 1990 as Army School with only 250 pupils as a Primary School comprising of six Classes (from I to VI). Over the years, the school has grown into a full fledged. Sr Sec School, comprising of Science and Commerce Streams 3300 pupils distributed in 84 sections. It is an English Medium Co-educational Day School, upgraded to Class XII, from the academic session 1994-95. Rechristened as Army Public School in 2008, The school is housed in neat and clean buildings. There are well equipped laboratories to cater to the needs of individual student. The school library has a wide collection of general and reference books. At present, more than dozen newspapers and periodicals are being subscribed in order to keep students abreast with ever growing knowledge and to prepare them for various competitions. Equal stress is laid on co-curricular activities.
The School has adequate playgrounds for various sports and games. The school has sufficient furniture for each age group which not only provides comfort but also helps in maintaining right posture. Average strength of a class is 40 students. Students are prepared for Secondary School and All India Senior School Certificate Examination conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi.
